I am back with the most awaited Mac Rebel Lipstick Review in collaboration with Bubbles in your wardrobe , an Instagram based e-store which deals in luxury branded cosmetics, watches, bags etc offering at affordable prices.
About Mac Rebel:
Mac describes “Rebel” as a mid-tonal cream plum. Rebel is a part of Mac’s permanent line and it has a satin finish with a semi-matte look.

Shade:
Rebel is a bright plum berry shade and has a slight glossy sheen to it. It instantly brightens up your look. It’s the kind of shade that would suit most skin tones.

Texture & Formula: Mac Rebel has a satin finish formula. It’s neither super glossy nor matte. It glides easily and gives a semi-matte finish.
PIgmentation:
It gives opaque coverage in one swipe. It covers lip discolourations instantly. It’s long-lasting for about 5-6 hours. It’s very pigmented.
Packaging:
Due to it being a permanent shade, it comes in a legendary black and silver bullet.

My Review:
Rebel is an incredible lipstick that not only has lovely formula, but it’s shade is very pretty & unique which instantly brightens up your look. It looks like dark purple color on the bullet that screams goth & slightly vampy. At first, I was literally scared to use it. However, when I swatched, surprisingly,a beautiful bright pink-purple-berry shade came out which is edgy with a touch of feminity. It has a lovely semi-matte finish with slight sheen to it, which is to die for! It’s easy to apply and doesn’t bleed out. As I have naturally very dry lips, I face a little problem with Rebel due to it’s satin finish, it dries out my lips a bit. So, prior exfoliation and a nourishing lip-balm underneath is a MUST for me. This won’t be an issue at all if you have normal lips.
Staying power is something to talk about,it’s beyond excellent.It lasts 5-6 hours before fading and leaves behind pink-berry stain after it fades, which looks quite flattering.
I find that Rebel does really brightens up my complexion & I feel it is suitable to most skin tones as well.
I would love to wear it all year round but especially I prefer it more in fall & this Winters, as it’s sucha refreshing color.

Undoubtedly, it has become my all time favorite lipstick. I have already recieved tons of compliments whenever I wear it. All thanks to Bubbles in your wardrobe for filling my bubbles in my wardrobe. Mac Rebel is really sucha steal at an affordable price with amazing quality and easily available at their store.I’m sure, you won’t be dissappointed at all.
