Smitten Shoes!

“I have enough shoes”,  said no girl ever! Everybody needs a shoe in all colors, trends, designs and ofcourse heel size & patterns, atleast I do!  I have always loved fashion because it’s a great way to express your mood and i’m definitely a shoe lover. Well, by now, you’ll must have known that today’s post is about my endless love for shoes!

Shoes have that power to either make or break an outfit and the right pair of shoes can change the feel of an outfit and can even change how a woman feels about herself. A woman can wear confidence on her feet with high stilettos, or slip into weekend comfort with a soft ballet flat.

So, first let me introduce you’ll to Smitten Shoes, started by two complete shoe  freaks, Aneesha Goenka & Sakshi Sahi Agarwal, to provide high street couture at affordable pricing. It was started in 2014 at Bangalore and was expanded to Hyderabad in 2015. Smitten for what the meaning suggests, “Struck by love”, It represents the love women have for shoes. Smitten stands for trendy, sexy & chic and everything today’s woman is!

I was absolutely smittened by Smitten Shoes, and I was much thrilled as I got to style few pieces from their latest collection. So, I’ve created 4 looks featuring their amazing shoes.

The coolest way to let your style shine through this season is to wear blingy,  sparkly and metallic shoes. Metallic & sparkly shoes trend is one of the most versatile style statement this season. Bling is in and so are these shoes!

For the first look, i’ve chosen these Sparkly Gold peeptoe stilettos. Sparkle, glow and stay Pretty in these gold stilettos. The shimmery detailing with ankle belt adds that extra glam. Pair it with almost anything and you’re party ready in a jiffy.

I wanted to portray that party shoes can be worn on something as casual and still look on point! Imagine getting into a party in these super cool Palazzos and keeping yourself cool & comfy this summer season and keeping them stilettos high for the party. It really isn’t necessary to always get dressed up in something party wear, the details really matter, like these sparkly gold heels. Letting the shoes do all the talking!

For the second look, I’ve created a wedding look in these gorgeous Gold slipon wedges. Wedges are the most practical heel in the fashion world and is absolutely everyone’s favorite, because they are easy to wear, super comfortable, and looks super stylish. These blingy golden wedges are definitely centre of attraction, and will make you stand out in the crowd. I absolutely fell in love instantly with these and needless to say, it glams up your look effortlessly. I’ve paired it up with a self designed anarkali and a heavy banarasi dupatta as it was a bridal look. If you wish to keep it simple yet sophisticated, you can ditch the dupatta and let your shoes do all the sparkling!

For the 3rd look, I’ve picked these Silver Metallic Tasselled Loafers. As I already said, Metallics and sparkles are coolest way this season to let your style shine through. Metallics are trending everywhere this season from runways to streets. These silver metallic tasselled loafers provide utmost comfort and great style, that you can pop, skip and jump in these. Dangly little tassels add hint of fun to the shoes. For this look, I’ve kept it all simple by pairing the shoes with a pink poncho which has silver detailing and a casual blue denims to keep up the chic factor.

Trust me, a good pair of loafers can compliment just about any outfit, whether it be a chic skirt or party dress or casual ripped denims. And these pointy, flashy metallic loafers add certain  effortlessness to your vibe, taking you from day to night. Add a little glam to your step with these party ready shoes!

You just can’t say No to this pair, as it has got you covered with all the top trends this season from Metallics, tassels, pointy toes and It’s the oh-so-comfortable loafers on addition to all these.

One of the biggest shoe trends this season is pointy toe, be it anything – stilettos, loafers or ballerinas!

As we all know, fringes and tassels are back in vogue and now are seen almost everywhere on runways. Whether you prefer Boho, preppy or edgy style, this tassle trend is right what you need exactly!

Lastly, i’ve picked up these Red Tassle Block heels, which are so bright, vibrant and summery. Summertime is all about the cute, colorful and fun trends and tassel trend exemplifies all the three. These brightly colored shoes with block heels provide utmost comfort with tassels and are surely the easiest way to make your summer look trendy yet fresh. I’ve colorblocked my all Black outfit with these vibrant red tassle blocks and I absolutely loved how the look turned out to be! Loved the pop of color.

Chunky block heels which are  ruling the runway are not only on trend but are also super comfortable.

I’m absolutely amazed with their trendy and fashionable collection at such an affordable pricing. Every single shoe is a reflection of their own personal style. About Smitten Shoes in their words – “When it concerns shoes in India, there is a lack of fashionable and trendy footwear. Shoes that are currently available are either luxury brands, which are a once in a way investment or there are shoes for masses, which are very  basic. Smitten aims at bridging the gap by bringing funky, chic and wearable shoes at prices that would please everyone and not available at your  regular retail stores.  They want to be a boutique that has every kind of footwear a girl will ever need. ” and that’s what makes them unique!
